Returns & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with DoYourClean. We’re a small home & kitchen brand, and we want returns to be fair and hassle-free for both you and us.

1) Return Eligibility

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original packaging (including gift box and inserts).
  • For hygiene reasons, used cellulose sponges can only be returned if they are defective or damaged on arrival.
  • Gift sets with missing components or items received more than 30 days ago are not eligible for return.

2) How to Request a Return

Please email [email protected] with:

  • Your order number, and
  • A short description of the issue (for example: “change of mind”, “box damaged in transit”, “wrong item”, etc.).

If your item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, we may ask for photos of the outer shipping box, the shipping label, and the item itself. This helps us file claims with our shipping partners. Once approved, we’ll send you return instructions and, where applicable, a prepaid label.

3) Return Shipping Costs

  • Our responsibility: If the return is due to our error or a quality issue (damaged, defective, or wrong item), we cover return shipping (or provide a prepaid return label).
  • Customer’s responsibility: If you simply change your mind or no longer want the item, you are responsible for the cost of sending the item back.

We do not charge any additional restocking fees.

4) Refunds

Refunds are issued to your original payment method (Stripe card payment or PayPal) within 1–3 business days after we receive and inspect your return.

Once your return is processed, you’ll receive an email confirming whether the refund has been approved and the final amount.

Because we offer free shipping on the original order, a flat $5.99 will be deducted from refunds on “change of mind” returns to help cover the original shipping and packing costs. This deduction will appear as a partial refund to your original payment method.

Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take a few extra business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

5) Exchanges

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’re happy to send a replacement at no extra cost. Please contact us first at [email protected] so we can arrange the fastest solution (replacement or refund).

6) Gifts & Partial Returns

  • Gift orders may be eligible for return or exchange — please contact us so we can review your specific situation.
  • Partial returns from bundled or multi-item orders are allowed; the refund will be adjusted based on the items returned.
